No, in fact quite the opposite. A 2015 Populus poll in Britain found that 37% of people would have increased trust in their doctor if assisted dying were legalised. Only 12% of people would have reduced trust in their doctor. Of those over the age of 65, 40% would be more trusting, with 12% less trusting.
