Belgium has recently legalised voluntary euthanasia for children. Isn’t legalising adult euthanasia just a slippery slope to that?

No. The End of Life Choice Bill is very clear – it does not extend to minors. The Bill states that a person must be aged 18 years or over to be eligible for assisted dying. What this Bill is about is allowing competent adults to make a mindful, informed decision about the last days of their own life.
